Air leakage analysis using the fan pressurisation method

The air leakage analysis equipment consists of a powerful fan, pressure gauges and airflow manometer that mount into the frame of an exterior door.

The fan pulls air out of the house, lowering the air pressure inside. Outside air at higher pressure then flows into the building through all unsealed cracks and openings.

Using the blower door we can quickly and accurately determine the air infiltration rate of your building.

The blower door exaggerates the air leakage in the building and allows us to pinpoint locations in the building envelope with excessive air leakage.

Our thermal imaging camera provides an invaluable tool to speed up locating and documenting the leaks.
